Hannah McGibbon leaves Chloé

Some time ago there were rumours Hannah McGibbon would leave Chloé, because her contract was up. But the French house renewed the contract for one more season. But now it is officially known that with the start of summer Hanna will no longer be Chloé's creative director. This place will take Clare Waight Keller, who worked at Pringle of Scotland.

Hannah MacGibbon, a graduate of Central St. Martins, has worked for Chloé for about 10 years. Since 2008 she was its creative director, but will leave "to pursue new projects". Nevertheless she stated: '"I will always have a deep affection for Chloé and am very grateful for the company for having given me this opportunity."

June 1 a new creative director of Chloé will be Clare Waight Keller, known for her works for the British knit-wear brand Pringle of Scotland. The designer had been its creative director for 6 years, but then left so she could have time to concentrate on her family. She has also worked for Gucci under Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren`s Purple Label and Calvin Klein In a statement MacGibbbon lauded Keller for "deep experience and innovative approach to knitwear."

(Looks a little like Serena, doesn't she?)

We wish both Hannah MacGibbon and Clare Waight Keller luck in their further work!
