Happy Birthday, John Cusack!

I haven't posted for quite a long time (11 days), but now we're back in business!

Today we congratulate an American actor and screenwriter, John Cusack! He is turning 45 today, but I always believed age only makes actors more interesting, it makes them develop, master their acting.

Last night I rewatched a movie with John, called 1408. It's a horror, and if you want to test your nerves, that's what you should watch. Not bloody, monstry, or dead manly. Interesting. I liked the type of character he played - too sure and self-confident. In fact, Cusack played in more than 50 films.

We wish him a long career, health and more films to come. Happy birthday, John Cusack!

Designer to Create Bella Swan's Wedding Dress

Representatives of Summit Entertainment studio, where all Twilight movies were shot, announced that in the 1st part of the final movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, Bella Swan will marry Edward Cullen not in a dress from Zac Posen, as they announced in November last year. The wedding dress Kristen Stewart will wear will be created by Carolina Herrera.

It's not the first time Herrera designs a wedding dress. For that special day she already dressed Renee Zellweger and Christina Hendricks.

Enjoy the Photograph: Daniel Radcliffe Vogue US March 2011

If you read this blog, then you can undoubtedly say what a wonderful Harry Potter admirer I am. This time I want to show you Daniel Radcliffe for Vogue, shot by Annie Leibovitz. Dan is an ambitious actor, since he wants to pursue his acting career and has already played in the Broadway musical theatre. I recently watched a movie called December Boys, where Daniel plays the main character. And again I understood how much I like his acting. Ladies and gentlemen.. Raniel Radcliffe for Vogue.. Enjoy yourselves.

Oh Daniel..

Angelina Jolie in Louis Vuitton Core Values Campaign

Angelina Jolie became another star who was shot for Louis Vuitton Core Values ad campaign. These photos previously featured such people as Mikhail Gorbachev, Keith Richards, Catherine Deneuve, Bono and his wife Ali Hewson, Sean Connery, Francis Ford Coppola and his daughter Sofia. These photos are shot in those places where these people travel in their real lives. Of course, with Louis Vuitton bags.

Angelina Jolie was shot in Cambodia's Siem Reap province, where she first traveled in 2000, to film her movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. What's interesting, she had no make-up on and wore her own clothes with her own Louis Vuitton Alto bag, which she has owned for more than 6 years. They say, A-list actress was paid millions for the campaign, and donated a great part for charity. Enjoy yourselves.

“People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation,” said Pietro Beccari, Vuitton’s executive vice president. “I like the fact that it’s a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand.”

“This campaign is about a very special person and a very special journey,” Beccari said.

What's also notorious, Louis Vuitton Alto bag's style is no longer in production, but “we are considering to re-edit it,” Beccari noted.

Emma Watson on Vogue July 2011 Cover

Emma Watson - I love Harry Potter - is on the cover of Vogue US! Photographed by Mario Testino, she looks miraculously beautiful. I always like her, she is 'a real English rose', as Karl Lagerfeld once said. The actress is 21, and now has finally completed the role of Hermione Granger. At the same time I want and don't want to see the finale. It's been such a long journey for millions of people around the world, and now these final steps.. It's hard for me to imagine no Harry Potter books and movies. But this wonderful new world will stay in my heart for a long time, I'm sure.

Let's get down to business and see the cover with this beautiful lady! By the way, in the issue Emma speaks about life after Harry Potter. Enjoy yourselves.

Burberry Autumn/Winter 2011 Campaign

One more Burberry video, this time Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign. I remember those 'cow' fur hats, when I watched the live Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2011 show on my computer. Colours Christopher used were red, orange, green and blue and a very little violet (I don't mention black, white and brown).I don't know the reason they didn't show those bright colours in the video, because that livened the collection up. So, the video by Mario Testino. Enjoy yourselves.

On June 6, the whole fashion world gathers in New York at CFDA 2011 Fahion Awards - Council of Fashion Designers of America - the most important event in fashion. This award is often called the Oscars of Fashion and designers who topped usually get it. The most important award - Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award - is given to those designers, who contributed greatly to fashion. Great designers in their time got this award: Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Karl Lagerfeld.. I can go on, but let's go back to 2011. This year's award went to Louis Vuitton's creative director Marc Jacobs.

Freja Beha for Vogue Nippon July 2011

Please welcome, Freja Beha Erichsen for Vogue Nippon July 2011! I'm that kind of person, who tries to understand why somebody likes this, likes that... I try to find something special in everything and everyone. Freja is a very specific model. To most people she's not that seductive, that glamorous, that admirable. But this photo shoot proves the opposite. She can be very 'womanish', sensual and beautiful .Photographed by Alasdair McLellan, Freja looks very sensuous. You can't disagree she's beautiful in this photo shoot. Sea... Wind... Sand... Blue skies... Enjoy yourselves.

She's really beautiful here, isn't she?

Freja Beha as a Poet

Freja Beha confessed to the New York Magazine she'd want to be a poet.

"I do write now, but I'd like to actually be really good at it, you know? It takes years of practice, I think, in order to get really good at something".

Freja Beha Erichsen by Terry Richardson for Vogue Nippon August 2010

Danish model, Karl Lagerfeld's muse, has worked with Karl at least 5 seasons.

"He [Karl] knows exactly what he wants, and he has a whole vision in his head, and he's very creative, and he'll come up with ideas for every single shoot, which makes my job extremely easy".

Enjoy The Cover: Vogue UK September 2010

This blog is too much about the latest news, I believe. Of course, I give my opinion, but still I believe there's too much about what's happening every day. I totally forgot that there are simple post, where I just show what I like. Some interesting photos, videos, articles. Something out of time, but what really interested me. Trust me, I quite often find exciting things. And now I will share the.

A thing I want to show you is Vogue UK September 2010 cover with Kate Moss on it. Honestly speaking, I like things connected with the United Kingdom. Elegant, not in Milan way, but in some special British way. Simple, yes. Royal, I would say. And this cover is like this. It's not complicated, not groundbreaking, but there's something about it.

Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier (I instantly recall The Devil Wears Prada). Did you know Kate Moss appeared on the covers of British Vogue at least 6 times. And if counting all Vogue-Moss covers, it will be at least 30!

YSL Cruise 2012 - Photos

On Wednesday, June 1, YSL showed their Cruise 2012 collection. Stefano Pilati used stripes and anchor prints, lots of black and white, yellow, red and blue. What I find interesting is his idea of using poppies. In prints - red and blue ones - and in dresses. Enjoy yourselves.

I like a white overall with a red belt. Not bad, what do you think?
