Full lecture room
The lecture was very interesting, I believe due to the experience Aliona Stanislavovna has, and due to that great number of photographers, designers, models she had an opportunity to work with. She is herself a very pleasant woman, and you feel immediately how purposeful and persistent she is. Of course, we can't know why after 13 years hard, dedicated work she is no more the editor-in-chief of Vogue Russia, but it's obvious how much she loves this magazine, and will always love. She said that she has always loved Vogue. Also, she said how hard it was to build everything from nothing, and the first three years she had to call and ask all the photographers and models to work together, arrange meetings - all on her own. So the work she has done is priceless. What's more, she said what's important for her in people she's going to work with. And, what it's like to be editor-in-chief: hard work, dedication to what you're doing, eagerness and being able to stay updated and moving. Furthermore, she said that we are extremely lucky to live in the 'era of great people', because as we can see, the designers become younger and younger, and change faster and faster. Spoke about imborn sense of style, parents, who never read such magazines as Vogue, attitude to what happened to John Galliano and much more.
